Why you wanted to go to graduate school: To learn how to better serve others of all walks of life
What area(s) of Student Affairs interest you most and why: Career development because of the ability to walk with a student as they connect their passions to the working world. I thoroughly believe in the value of encouraging, empowering, and recognizing students.
A memorable moment working with your students at your assistantship: hosting a Ping Pong tournament featuring the namesake of our building, Jon Wefald.
What are your hobbies? Reading, petting dogs, and karaoke.
If you could take a year off from work/school what would you do? Pass out tokens of friendship and encouraging notes in cities across the globe.
What is your dream job? Professional Karaoke star
Who would play you in a movie of your life and why? Amy Poehler because she could convey both my sense of humor and intentional awkwardness in a sincere yet hilarious way.
What/who is your spirit animal? My spirit animal is Dory from Finding Nemo.
My secret passion is? DNA and anything genetics related.
