Knowledge Community Spotlight - New Professionals & Graduate Students

The New Professionals and Graduate Students Knowledge Community works to educate, disseminate, and create opportunities for NASPA New Professionals and Graduate Students within the region and nationally. New professionals and graduate students comprise a large majority of NASPA membership yet we are one of the smallest KC’s. Nationally, we are working to recruit more involvement to the KC to better serve the NPGS members. At the National Convention during the KC fair, representatives were gathering contact information to send out an interest form for those wanting to get involved with different committees within the national and regional teams. That information was then passed along to the respective person and an email should have been received talking about next steps for involvement.
The NPGS KC looks for ways to #AddValue through professional development, advancement preparations, creating and strengthening partnerships, and empowering members through service.
