Technology at NASPA IV-WE

November 4, 2016 Kristen Abell The Committed Project

Hi everyone!

Your friendly technology committee wanted to share some tips and tricks for navigating all things technology while at the conference. Below you will see some thoughts we put together; however, we encourage you to reach out to any of us should you have a questions that was not addressed below. See you all soon!

Guidebook

Our conference will be using Guidebook to share all of the great educational sessions (and much more information) this year. To access the Guidebook, you will need to download the NASPA application on your smart device. Once in the NASPA application, you can find our conference’s Guidebook by searching for “2016 NASPA Region IV-West/East Conference”. Once you find it, select “download” and it will be available in your NASPA. The application is only available through the NASPA app and not the Guidebook application itself.

Computer Adapters

If you are presenting, please remember to bring any necessary adapters for your laptop. Our conference committee will be providing projectors (VGA compatible) and screens for each educational session room. We do not have access to any adapters while onsite, so please remember to bring one if your computer needs it.

Internet

There will be no internet access in the educational session rooms, so please be sure to download any web-based content you may need prior to your presentation.

Social Media Station

We will have a social media station located near the Registration tables throughout the conference. Please stop by to connect with us and see what folks are sharing about our conference on social media. Additionally, please feel free to bring and social media/technology related questions and we will do our best to help out.

We are greatly looking forward to the conference and connecting with you all In the Heart of it All.
