NASPA Foundation Access Scholarships
Award Type: foundation
The NASPA Foundation, in partnership with NASPA, is excited to share this scholarship opportunity designed to keep NASPA members connected to the field and the Association. Donor gifts have allowed for scholarships to directly support conference registrations and on-site housing for select NASPA events, as well as the Core Student Affairs Educator Certification.
The scholarships will fund a conference registration and up to two nights of lodging for the conference in a standard room for the events listed below. Some events do not include lodging*, as noted below. Scholarships do not cover preconferences or travel-related expenses.
Applicants must apply by the deadline associated with their selected event and are encouraged to apply as early as possible. Applicants will be notified regarding status two weeks after the deadline. Note: Those with an application deadline of December 16, 2022 will be delayed in receiving notifications. We anticipate that applicants will be notified no later than January 13, 2023.
Applicants may only receive a scholarship one (1) time for this cycle, which ends June 2023. Recipients of this scholarship in the 2021-2022 are not eligible to apply again. This scholarship is not transferable to other events and the scholarship package of registration and lodging cannot be exchanged for cash. Please note that the availability of funds may change and applicants will be notified of any changes that may affect their application.
In the event that the scholarship recipient is unable to attend the event, the recipient will forfeit the scholarship and will have to re-apply for another opportunity to be considered.
Please note that NASPA reserves the right to update application criteria based on funding for this program and registration availability. Some programs listed may be removed if the registration is full.
The following events are available for scholarship recipients to attend. Applicants may apply for one of the eligible events listed below. Note: The Annual Conference is reviewed in two rounds. If you miss the first round, you may apply to be considered for scholarship during the second round.
- Applicant must be a current NASPA member to apply and be a current NASPA member at the start of the event the scholarship is awarded for.
