NASPA AI Virtual Summit for Senior Student Affairs Leaders
The NASPA AI Virtual Summit is a curated gathering designed exclusively for VPSAs, AVPs, and Deans. Given the rapid growth of artificial intelligence in higher education, this Summit will serve as a platform for executive and senior-level student affairs leaders to learn from field experts and one another about emerging practices, challenges, and key considerations while reinforcing NASPA's role as a trusted source for trends, innovation, and professional practice in student affairs.
Speakers will consist of executive and senior-level student affairs leaders, industry leaders in AI and higher education, and NASPA leadership. The following themes will be explored through panel discussions and breakout sessions:
- AI-Enhanced Student Support Design: how institutions are selecting and integrating AI tools in the development, and delivery of student supports, including how AI can enhance advising, strengthen student engagement, and support student success through more personalized, timely, and proactive approaches.
- AI & Human Connection Balance: how senior-level student affairs leaders can model and coach staff on maintaining authentic, relational student interactions while strategically incorporating AI efficiencies into their work.
- AI Strategic Visioning and AI Literacy: how institutions can include student affairs in institution-wide governance strategies and how student affairs divisions can develop ethical, tactical, sustainable strategies for integrating AI into their priorities and operations.
