NASPA Region III Mentorship & Coaching Network

The NASPA Region III Mentorship & Coaching Network is a regional professional development initiative designed to foster connection, professional growth, reflection, and engagement among Student Affairs professionals across Region III.

Through intentional mentoring relationships, coaching circles, and developmental resources, the Network creates opportunities for Region III members to learn from one another, expand their professional networks, navigate career transitions and challenges, and strengthen their continued engagement within the profession.

The NASPA Region III Mentoring Network is seeking professionals who are interested in supporting the growth and development of colleagues across the region.

Mentoring provides an opportunity to share your experience, perspective, and lessons learned while helping another professional navigate their career and professional development. Mentors can also benefit from new perspectives, expanded professional connections, and the opportunity to contribute to the continued development of the Student Affairs profession.

Mentor applications are open October 5–December 15, 2026.

What to Expect as a Mentor

Mentors will:

• Participate in a required mentor orientation in January 2027
• Review mentoring resources, best practices, and program expectations
• Maintain an active commitment to the mentoring relationship
• Meet with their mentee a minimum of six times during the program year
• Establish mutually agreed-upon communication expectations with their mentee
• Maintain confidentiality and support their mentee's professional development
• Participate in program assessment and provide feedback to strengthen the Network

Mentor applications open

Mentor applicants notified of selection and next steps

January 2027
Required mentor orientation

January 11–March 3, 2027
Mentee applications open

Early March 2027
Mentor/mentee matching completed
