A NASPA Community Award
The purpose of Veterans Knowledge Community Ally and Advocate Award is to recognize the outstanding work individuals do with relation to supporting and / or advancing military-connected students. While the NASPA VKC Supra et Ultra award currently exists to recognize outstanding services and contributions from those who support our military-connected students, that award is restricted solely for individuals who are active members of NASPA (The Supra et Ultra award is the VKC’s only current award).
The Veterans Knowledge Community (VKC) acknowledges that great work happens across many lines of work and organizations, not all of which would be appropriate for an individual to be an active NASPA member. The VKC want to highlight those who work in higher education, in addition to those whose work impacts higher education.
