Join Dr. Marybeth Gasman, professor of higher education in the graduate school of education at the University of Pennsylvania for a session to help student affairs professionals move from words to action in the face of racism and police brutality. This live briefing will take place on August 4 from 3:00 - 4:00 p.m. EDT.
In this session, participants will:

- understand how to become more comfortable using their privileged identities to be a voice and active supporter for historically marginalized identity groups
- learn best practices to include the narratives of others to help create awareness, facilitate change and take action on college campuses
- learn how to be supportive of students and colleagues impacted by racial injustice
