About

The Global Forum of Student Affairs (FIDAE, by its Spanish acromym) is an annual event being held in the city of Monterrey, México in its 5th edition. FIDAE is organized by the four main universities in the state of Nuevo León: UANL (Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León), ITESM (Instituto Tecnólogico de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey), UDEM (Universidad de Monterrey), and U-ERRE (Universidad Regiomontana). 

The main purpose of this annual conference is to share learnings and experiences of the student affairs environment between Mexican universities. In that sense, student affairs professionals in the country will be enhancing their skills to promote student development through learning programs that increase the abilities for personal and professional development.

In order to achieve this goal, the areas of FIDAE are the following:

  • Sense of belonging
  • Appreciation of arts and culture
  • Leadership
  • Social responsibility
  • Physical and mental health care 
  • Sports
  • Diversity and respect for others
  • Family relations
