The Coalition of Colorado Campus Alcohol and Drug Educators (CADE) invites higher education prevention staff from across the state for a one day training in Denver, CO. The 2022 CADE Fall Training will allow collegiate prevention teams to hear updates from CADE Staff, engage in networking with other campus teams, and learn best practices for prevention efforts, and receive updates on the current grant project.
Registration is free to all Colorado campus professionals and students that wish to attend. Please complete the individual registration to confirm we will have training materials, meals, and lodging as needed for your attendance.

Naloxone Training
Details
The session will provide training on how to recognize signs of an opioid overdose, how naloxone works to reverse an overdose, and the processes to administer naloxone. The session will be co-conducted by staff of the Colorado Consortium for Prescription Drug Abuse Prevention and SAFE Project, which will include case studies and examples of successful opioid overdose response programs at universities and colleges across the state, as well as how to access from Naloxone from the Colorado Naloxone Bulk Purchase Program. Information about upcoming opportunities for participating in a Naloxone Training of Trainers will be provided.
Presenters: Jennifer Mackender, MPH, External Relations Strategist, Colorado Consortium for Prescription Drug Abuse Prevention, University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus, and Dylan Dunn, MS, Assistant Director of Safe Campuses, Training & Professional Development, Project SAFE.
