NASPA North Carolina

I am delighted to send you greetings from the newly formed Board for NASPA North Carolina.  Last fall, a dozen professionals from across the state volunteered to serve our 300 NASPA members.  They offer to the Board a tremendous wealth of knowledge and experience along with ideas for engaging and supporting our membership. 

The Board is divided into three committees. Phil Hardy (UNC-CH) is leading the Communications Committee.  His team was responsible for producing the inaugural issue of our newsletter.  Michael Reynolds, Ed.D. (Wingate Univ.) is the chair of the Professional Connections Committee.  He will move us forward with developing a mentor/mentee program.  Finally, Shauna Harris, Ph.D. (UNC-CH) is leading our Professional Development Committee.  Her team is working to provide opportunities for professional growth. 

We are all certainly facing unusual challenges this spring semester.  However, our Board remains steadfast in its commitment to creating ways for connecting our NASPA membership in North Carolina.  We are here to listen and respond to your ideas and needs.  Please reach out to me or any of our Board members by emailing us at [email protected].
