Message from the Division Chair
Welcome to the NASPA Public Policy Division (PPD). Given the current political environment and changing policy landscape, NASPA’s voice and ability to influence higher education policy and advocate for student interests at the federal, state, and local levels have never been more relevant or urgent.
Through timely and easily accessible policy digests, webinars, blogs, social media posts, and conference programming, the PPD endeavors to provide creative and impactful ways to communicate public policy related “intelligence” that adds real value to the daily work of student affairs practitioners. We are committed to strengthening public policy knowledge and helping members to engage responsibly and effectively on behalf of our students and institutions.

Members of the NASPA Public Policy Division host periodic virtual town halls for members to engage with content area experts and other members to discuss current national and state policy trends and their impact on our campuses. Recordings for recent virtual town halls are provided below:
