The editorial team for the NASPA Journal About Women in Higher Education is thrilled to announce Dr. Amy Aldous Bergerson as the 2017 NASPA Region V Fred Turner Award for Outstanding Performance to NASPA recipient. Named in honor of one of NASPA’s most distinguished past Board Chairs (1958-59) and former senior student affairs officer at the University of Illinois, this award honors Region V members who have demonstrated continuous NASPA membership and who have continued to serve NASPA at the state, regional, or national level. The committee noted that they were particularly impressed with Amy’s outstanding service to two NASPA journals—both NJAWHE and JSARP.  Join us in congratulating Amy!
