Opening Reception (included in conference registration)

Thursday, June 15th • 07.00 PM – 09.00 AM

Join colleagues for a reception following the opening session and speaker. An opportunity for conversation and meeting others in a relaxed environment, the opening reception will feature tasty treats in a relaxed atmosphere. The opening session will be held in the Dolphin resort. For a quick conversation starter, look for others’ favorite Disney character on name badges this year.

Breakfast dialogue sessions (included in conference registration)

Saturday, June 17th • 08.00 AM – 10.00 AM

A hallmark of the Summer Symposium program, breakfast dialogue sessions will be offered for Senior Student Affairs officers and Assistant Vice Presidents/Deans of Students. This year we are expanding these opportunities to mid-managers and new professionals and graduate students so all symposium attendees can connect with colleagues for open dialogue and connections. These sessions are opportunities to meet with colleagues, discuss issues of concern, brainstorm ideas, and to build a regional network for professional support.

Networking lunch (included in conference registration)

Saturday, June 17th • 11.30 AM – 01.00 PM

Bringing back a popular session from 2016, a networking lunch is included this year. The lunch is an opportunity to interact with those you may not know yet or those you are hoping to sit down with during the symposium. The lunch is an excellent time to extend conversation on the topics presented by our major speakers and during hot topic roundtable sessions.
